FEATHERWEIGHT FRAME, TYPICAL ENGRAVING WITH A DUCK IN FLIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND A PAIR OF STANDING QUAIL ON THE LEFT SIDE, PLUS BOLD SCROLLWORK, FINE LINE BORDERS, AND ENGRAVED SCREWS. 100% BOLD VIVID ORIGINAL CASE COLOR, MOST OF THE BRIGHT ORIGINAL TRIGGERGUARD BLUE. TOP LEVER IS TO THE FAR RIGHT, STILL STIFF TO OPEN AND CLOSE, AUTO-SAFETY.
PISTOL GRIP STOCK, SPLINTER FOREARM, ATTRACTIVE DARK GRAIN HIGHLY FIGURED AMERICAN WALNUT. NORMAL HANDLING MARKS IN THE VARNISH, ORIGINAL GRIP CAP, AND BAKELITE BUTPLATE. OVAL STOCK INLAY ENGRAVED - POSSIBLY "L.B.", 1 1/2" X 2 5/8" X 14 1/8", 6 POUNDS 6 OUNCES. MADE IN 1930. OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE ONLY REAL FLAW IS A SMALL CHIP ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BUTTPLATE.
