For sale is a vintage Ideal Grade manufactured by Hunter Arms in Fulton NY. The included L.C. Smith Collectors Association Research Letter indicates that the shotgun was finished on June 17, 1926

• Unmodified condition with original finish.
• The bores are shiny and smooth and are excellent shape considering the age of the gun. Barrel exterior shows finish loss and scratches but no dents or splits.
• 3 Position Safety: Forward (Field Safety) – Acts as an automatic safety., Middle - Guns on Safe, Rear (Target Safety) - Safety stays off.
• Feather-Weight Frame.

The forend is hard to detatch.  A Delrin rod was made to provides additional leverage in removing the forend from the barrel.

I shot a box of target loads without issue and the barrels appear to be properly regulated.
Due to the age of the shotgun it is sold "as is" without warranty.
