Description:
SN. FWS8979. Made in 1947 with 28" London steel bbls that have slightly raised single sighting plane matted rib with small brass front bead. SN and grade designation on watertable. Splinter forend with roll type release, triangular ebony tip, is checkered in point pattern with lightly engraved iron. Casehardened sidelock action is lightly floral engraved on locks and stamped "L.C. SMITH" at front with flowing floral engraving around trigger plate. Gun made with auto ejectors, Hunter One SST, non-auto safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with its original lined hard rubber buttplate. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 6oz. Bore Diameter: .410(Both).
