SALE PENDING. LC Smith Long Range Wildfowl Guns have been generating a lot of interest lately. Perhaps it is the recognised "shootability" of a heavy and steady gun. This 12 gauge gun has the far less common 30" barrels. Mirror bores measuring .728 with Full (38/1000) chokes in both barrels. Factory 3" chambers. One aspect of the "Long Range" I noticed was the generous wood around the lock plates and wrist of the stock. This was done to accommodate the heavy shot charges. Indeed it is one of the very few post 1913 LC Smiths to not have any of those common cracks around the lock plates. This gun was made in 1928. Original case color and blue. Tight on face with top lever well right of center. No loose ribs. No cracks to the wood. Three position safety. Weight of the gun is 8 LBS 5 OZ. LOP is 14 1/4". Drop at comb - 1 11/16". Drop at heel - 2 7/8". Shipping by USPS Priority Mail is $75.
