Very opulent special over gun built with 30" Crown Steel barrels. Gun has original splinter forend with engraved banjo shaped release and gold border inlays throughout the checkering on the forend. There is a diamond gold inlaid plaque engraved with initials The casehardened frame is engraved beautifully in game scenes and scroll as seen in the photos. Gold inlaid crown on top lever. Buttstock is ball grip and has gold inlaid border on checkering which beautifully accents the gun. The butt terminates with a 3/4" black leather covered recoil pad. Wood is quite nice as seen in the photos.
Gun remains in beautiful overall condition with more than 95% original barrel. blue. Frame with about 70% original case color remaining. Stocks are sound and excellent with most of their original finishes remaining. The LCSCA letter on this gun doesnt have much additional detail but confirms the current configuration and we feel the gold is either factory done or very early period of use done by a highly qualified retailer. We will never know for sure, but it sure looks factory! Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
