Very rare L.C. Smith Trap Grade 20ga built with 32" barrels - One of 5 in this configuration!
Description:
A really hard to find Smith built with 32" steel barrels. Gun built Splinter forend and has lightly engraved banjo shaped roll type releas. Casehardened sidelock receiver engraved in standard Trap Grade pattern on locks. Bottom of frame with flourishes of scroll around trigger plate screw. Blued trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Factory original capped pistol grip walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern and terminates with an aging "OLD ENGLISH" brand red pad.
Gun remains in excellent as partially restored condition. Barrels and trigger guard with nearly all of their competently restored blue. Buttstock and forend are excellent and appear sound with a blend of original finish and some finish added for preservation. Frame has toned with a hint or two of original color remaining. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. An extremely rare Smith with only 5 made in this configuration!
