Lefever Arms G Grade is a hammerless side by side shotgun with ejectors and cocking Indicators. This example is chambered for 2 3/4", 12 Gauge shells. The barrels are 30" with fixed "MOD" chokes and a matted solid flat rib. The front sight is a white bead attached to a base. The barrel flats are marked "12/70" with nitro proofs and other Belgian proof marks. The sideplates are each marked "LEFEVER ARMS CO. / SYRACUSE N.Y. U.S.A.", the bottom tang in front of the trigger guard is marked "Patented / 1872-88-90-94-1907". The water table is marked "52952" and "G". The forearm bracket is marked "52952". The underside of the left barrel is marked "52952". The inside of the trigger guard is marked "52952". The receiver has splashes of scroll engraving with decorative borders. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with splinter forend, horn-capped pistol grip, and serrated rubber buttplate. The forend has an inlaid steel tip. Drop at comb is approximately 1 5/8", drop at heel 1 7/8" with a neutral cast. 12 Gauge
