Lefever ~ Nitro Special ~ 12 GA
Description:
This Lefever Nitro Special was manufactured in 1946 by the Ithaca Gun Co. Wood has been nicely refinished at some point and checkering re-cut. Blue is most likely redone as well but shows some light oxidation with a few small spots of pitting. Mid-bead appears to have broken off. Barrel stamp is highlighted with yellow grease pencil. Case color appears original and remains excellent showing some light oxidation as well. Some light rust on top tang. This is an extractor gun. Very nice old gun with matching serial numbers. 12 Gauge
