Extremely rare Lefever F Grade 8 bore shotgun made in 1886. Made with 36" Damascus barrels, double triggers, splinter forend, capped pistol grip buttstock with original Lefever Arms Co. monogrammed buttplate. Line engraved. Scarce roller bearing cocking rods. Superb wood for an Gun of this grade. This is the only 36" Lefever I have owned in more than 30+ years of aggressively chasing Lefever guns.
This gun remains in outstanding original condition. The bores are bright and shiny with a few very light scattered pits. The gun retains well over 70% bold original case color and more than 50% original trigger guard blue. Barrels retain more than 95% vivid damascus pattern. Mechanics are tight. Wood is excellent with original finishes on the forend and buttstock having been restored long ago.
