This is a very early model Remington 1100LH left handed skeet barrel shotgun. The serial number is L837489V. The prefix of L was used for 1968 shotguns. The suffix of V designates 2.75” chamber. This is what leads me to draw the conclusion of the shotgun being manufactured in 1968. There is no date code on the barrel. The barrel is a vented ribbed barrel. The choke is a fixed skeet choke. The front bead is white, and the mid-line bead is silver. I have personally shot this shotgun and it functions flawlessly. The wood is beautiful with one small spot of finish chipping (less than 1” spot) in the left side of the forearm as pictured. The buttstock has three very small almost not noticeable dings in the right hand side. This shotgun is very beautiful with very few flaws cosmetically and zero flaws functionally.
