MARLIN MODEL 1898 SLIDE ACTION SHOTGUN
Description:
This one was made right about the turn of the Century. 12 ga. 30" bbl with an exceptional bright shiny bore. Most orig blue remains on the receiver. Most of these greyed out but this did not. Very nice blue and nice smooth metal. Bbl also retains nearly all orig blue although it has aged and not as bright as the receiver. Wood matches at VG cond. Nice fitting and even has the orig Marlin hard rubber buttplate in VG cond. Forearm is also very nice. Action works. Solid but a bit stiff from non use. A very nice Marlin shotgun!
