SALE PENDING on this Marlin Model 90 O/U 16Ga shotgun with a single trigger, extractors and a 26" matted barrel.I obtained this Shotgun from the family of a Ex-Marlin employee who worked at the New Haven,Conn Marlin factory during the 1960's.Marlin was developing the Single Trigger Model 90 and this particular Shotgun was a Proto-Type with Serial # 000.The barrel described above also matches with serial # 000.The gun is in near excellent condition. The blue on the barrels is rated at 90%.The receiver is also rated at 90% with some wear on the right side. The wood is Walnut with factory cut checkering on the rear stock and forend.A Marlin logo recoil pad is intact and in excellent condition.There are no cracks in the wood and it is in nice shape. The Marlin bullseye is intact in the rear stock and the LOP is 14".There are a few dings and minor marks here and there. I rate the wood at 92%.The bores are clean and shiny and lock up is very tight. There is no play at all with action open.The lever sits right of center. ** In addition I have another set of barrels with this shotgun which are 28" matted as well. This barrel set is in excellent condition rated at 95% with clean shiny bores. The serial number on this barrel set is #187. Both sets of barrels are marked New Haven,Conn USA and chambers are 23/4".I believe this shotgun would appeal to a Marlin Collector. I can provide a letter of provenance from the family who own this shotgun as to its origin. I do not have the chokes on either barrel set at time of listing but I will obtain that and add to this description shortly. I will ship this item to a FFL within the Continental US only including AK and HI which require additional postage as does CA. The remainder of the states will pay $50.00 for shipping and Insurance.
