Description: Spectacular Set Marlin 120 Shotgun WITH SIX BARRELS Collection of Noted Author Offered here and just acquired is a very fine and UNUSUAL Marlin 120 12 GA Trap Shotgun with Six(6) extra barrels which was obtained more than 30 years ago from the collection of Bill Brophy. William S. Brophy (1924–1991) was a distinguished U.S. Army officer and a renowned author in the field of firearms history. His military career spanned World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, during which he earned numerous accolades, including the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. After retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1967, Brophy pursued a second career in the firearms industry. He served as the senior technical manager and company historian for the Marlin Firearms Company. His deep passion for hunting and competitive shooting led to several prestigious awards and honors. Brophy authored several authoritative books on American firearms, including:
This Marlin Model 120 is a pump-action shotgun produced by Marlin Firearms from the early 1970s to the early 1980s. It was designed primarily as a sporting shotgun and is known for its durability and smooth action. The Model 120 was Since it was only produced for about a decade, it is not as common as some other pump shotguns like the Remington 870 or Mossberg 500.
