Merkel 1620EL Shotgun in 16 gauge. This is one fine Merkel that has been fired very little and spent most of its time hiding in the safe. The fine quality 1620EL 16 gauge series is built on the lighter weight downsized 20 gauge frame. This 1620 is an Anson & Deeley silver gray receiver with hand engraved game scene by master engraver Bettina Lenk.
It has a Greener cross-bolt with double locking lugs, single selective trigger, auto ejectors, 28” barrel choked IC & Mod, and a beautiful pistol grip stock. I have the factory box it was shipped in and a Merkel fitted luggage case. The wood does have a few small marks from poor storge in the safe. Metal is 100%.
