For sale: A Merkel 2001 ES 12/70 Skeet model. Includes original box and Merkel factory paperwork. Condition is 95%. LOP is 14 3/8 inches. 12/70 caliber. Single selective trigger. Has automatic ejectors. Has coin finish with scroll engraving, hand-cut checkering with hand-engraved running hares on the left, and a dog flushing grouse on the right. Wood class 4. Barrels made of Krupp-Stahl. Barrel length of 26.77 inches. Fixed skeet chokes. Barrel diameter is 0.732 inches or slightly oversized. Ventilated rib. Slight handling marks on the outside of the weapon, some wear on the underside of the barrels. Purchased new in Germany in 2018 by original owner. Shotgun was originally designated for US import, henceforth the 'JGT' import stamps but remained in Germany. Imported from Germany December 2025. Original Merkel factory plastic case and paperwork included. 

Uncommon to see the Skeet model available in the United States.
