Merkel 2001EL Sporter 28-gauge O&U shotgun 28" barrels

Description:
Selling a hard to find Merkel 2001EL sporter 28-gauge O&U with 28" fixed choke IC/M barrels.  This gun was made in 2001, per the date code on the barrels, and remains in very nice condition.  The receiver exterior and interior is very clean.  The wood has a few very light marks along with a slight rub in the finish just behind the receiver.  None of the marks appear pick up in the pictures as they are quite slight.  The checkering is perfect.  The bores as well  The bluing on the barrels is 99%.  There are a few slight dings on the solid rib probably from being placed in the rack at the range.  I'm including several pics from when I originally purchased the gun that were taken by Cabelas.  I've only owned this gun a short while and it remains unchanged from when the Cabela's pics were taken.
