This is an As New 1984 Merkel made in the old world hand made fashion.  Gun doesn't appear to fired or ever taken afield.  The chokes in this gun are Lt. Mod. and Mod which takes care of a wide range of hunting situations.  Beautifully flat tapered rib is finished with lovely ivory bead.  Single selective trigger has nice crisp even pulls. Overall this is a gun has many reminders of what old world hand made gun making was all about!
