This is a decent looking old Mossberg 500 12 gauge. The gun does show obvious signs of use. There are some nicks, dings, and scratches in the wood and some worn places in the blued finish as well. There is also so surface rust toward the end of the barrel. This gun uses a fixed modified choke. It is not a screw in. This is a fixed choke. Functionally this shotgun feels very sound. The action locks tight as it should and everything seems to work. The action is of course very smooth on this gun. It was NOT tested with live ammunition. This weapon was dry fire tested. This firearm is sold in an AS-IS condition.
