The 940 Pro Tactical SPX offers improved features and ergonomics aimed at creating a true fighting tactical shotgun. The 940 Pro Tactical SPX features an innovative forend design that integrates a heatshield to protect against accumulated heat from high volume fire along with two QD mounting points for slings and three M-LOK mounting points at the 3, 6 and 9 o‚clock positions for tactical accessories. For faster reloads, a 6-shotshell carrier by Vang Comp Systems comes included on a removable hook-and-loop mount and is paired with an enlarged and beveled loading port that sports a high-visibility follower. Like the other 940 Pro models, the Tactical SPX also features a removable rear sight for use with red dot optics.

This model is chambered in 12 gauge and features a 3-inch chamber and an 18.5-inch barrel. The receiver utilizes an RMSc footprint and is compatible with most matching optics and comes with a pre-installed Holosun HS407K red dot sight. The magazine tube has a 7-round capacity.
