This is the Custom Uplander Model in 28 gauge. This is a true sidelock gun which comes with all the bells and whistles. By this I mean bushed firing pins, cocking indicators, ejectors, straight grip stock with hand cut checkering, splinter forend with anson latch, and checkered butt. Stock is of high grade walnut with great grain pattern and perfect straight flow through the wrist which is so important on this small doubles. It also has hand rubbed oil finish with only a few small handling marks. LOP is approx 14 3/8". Drop Comb is approx 1 3/8". Drop Heel is approx 2 ¼".
Approx. 3/8 inch cast off for the right hand shooter. This gun comes with 29 inch barrels which are using an added Briley choke system and currently choked .005 (skeet) and .009 (Improved Cylinder). An extra Briley Choke Kit includes another IC .009, Mod .015, LMOD .012 and IMOD .018. Barrels have a raised solid rib with hand cut crosshatching to reduce glare. Trigger pulls are light and very crisp as you would expect from a true sidelock with front trigger being articulated. Weight of the gun is Approx 6 pounds 3 ounces and balance is right on the hinge pin.
