Best Quality Victor Sarasqueta Matched Pair – 12 Gauge
A superb matched pair of best quality bar action sidelock ejector game guns by Victor Sarasqueta of Eibar, Spain. Post-war production and built to the firm’s highest standard, these guns exhibit all of the classic “best gun” features along with exceptional fit and finish.
The guns are beautifully engraved with fine floral scroll and show virtually no appreciable wear. Mechanically they remain tight on the face and feel like new guns, with perfect screw slots and excellent overall condition.
Both guns feature chopper lump barrels, articulated front triggers, disc-set firing pins, Southgate ejectors, and automatic safeties. The elegant stocks are finished in a traditional hand-rubbed oil finish.
Barrels measure 27 3/4" with mirror bores measuring .723 as original. Chokes are Modified (.020) and Full (.038). Chambers measure 3".
The guns are well balanced and lively in the hand.
