Hammerless Sidelocks - These are a wonderful pair of 16-gauge Purdeys made in 1899. New barrels fitted by the maker in 1977 and proofed again in London in 1993 for 2 3/4". I am partial to the leaf style fences on Purdeys, as it adds another level of fine craftsmanship to these London Best guns. Note that the pair have a substantial amount of original case color remaining indicating they have seen very little use.

Hammerless Sidelocks - These are a wonderful pair of 16-gauge Purdeys made in 1899. New barrels fitted by the maker in 1977 and proofed again in London in 1993 for 2 3/4". Note that the pair have a substantial amount of original case color remaining indicating they have seen very little use.
*These are a virtual bargain when compared to modern Purdey’s. At over 100 years old, they display and handle without refute. The #1 gun can be found under gun ID# 5851.
*I would like to point out this pair has excellent stock dimensions for many.
For the tall pads could be added to achieve a LOP of up to 15 3/4".
