This is a beautifully matched pair of Gunlock Royal  12 Gauge side-by-side shotguns, consecutively numbered 16146 and 16147. Both guns feature hand-detachable sidelock actions with cocking indicators and striker discs, elegantly Duncan engraved with gold-inlaid “No. 1” and “No. 2” on the ribs. The 28" barrels are choked Modified & Improved Cylinder.
Each gun has a checkered walnut straight-grip stock with carved drop points and an engraved initial plate “BSC.” in the toe line. Stock dimensions and weight are identical across the pair (15" LOP, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 1/8" DAH, 7mm cast-off, 6 lbs 12 oz).

Condition is excellent on both guns with only minor rubs on the gold inlays and light handling marks. These are exceptionally well-matched and present beautifully as a set.
