This is a rare consecutive matched pair of John Blanch & Son 12 Gauge side-by-side shotguns with serial numbers 6405 and 6406. Both guns feature extensive scroll and banner engraving covering the action fences top lever upper tang trigger guard and extending onto the ribs.
The 30" barrels are choked Full & Improved Cylinder. Double triggers tang safety and automatic ejectors provide traditional English control. The checkered walnut straight-grip stocks have drop points and blank initial plates in the toe line with a comfortable 15 3/8" length of pull.
Condition is very good plus on both guns with strong original finishes crisp engraving bright bores and tight actions. Both are fitted with Kick-Eez recoil pads.
Housed together in the original oak and leather maker’s case with snap caps and cleaning equipment.
