$200 grade Made for the Centennial Exhibition 1876 for sale
Description: I have decided to sell my 1876 10 ga $200 grade Parker Lifter, 2 7/8" S#6949. This historically important gun was completed in 1876 and the stock book records it as a Centinnial Gun, buiilt for the 1876 Exhibition held in Philadelphia. 32" Barrels, Mod & Mod. This shotgun won best of show at the Parker Convention held in Baltimore in 2016. The shotgun came to me from the original family that bought in in 1877 when it was returned to the Parker Store, NY. Measurements: BBLS Bore Diameter, L .795 R .805, Restrictionis: L .030 (mod), R .030 ( Mod), Wall Thickness, L .040 R .038 Stock: DAH 2 5/8" DAC 2" Cast: Neutral LOP, 14.5" Weight 9 lbs 3 oz. Condition, barrels retain most of what appears to be their original black damascus finish. Action retains nearly 70% case, lockplates and hammers 70%. Trigger guard about 30%. Wood checkering has not been recut and just shows handling wear. Action is as tight as new without any issues. Bores are nice without any issues, clean.
