Early production 28-gauge boxlock ejector game shotgun. The 26” blued steel barrels have 2-3/4" chambers, a tapered machined concave game rib with extension, brass bead front sight and the barrel flats with overload proofs are marked for IC and MOD chokes. The left barrel is marked "Parker Reproduction by Winchester® - 28 GAUGE, 2-3/4"-70MM" // East Alton IL. U.S.A." Frame size "F" is on rear lump. Case hardened action with lightening cuts on watertable features a checkered safety slide, engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered, single selective mechanical trigger protected by an engraved trigger guard extending to an engraved bottom strap with serial number. Action is engraved in usual late "D" style with dogs on sides surrounded by scrolls. "PARKER" is on bottom of action. Triggerplate is engraved with three pheasants. Finely crotch figured and well marbled Claro walnut straight hand grip buttstock measures 14-1/8" over an engraved blued steel skeleton buttplate. Stock features "D" styling with lozenge drop points, multi-point pattern grip checkering and vacant gold oval. Matching splinter fore-end has usual steel tip, and Deeley style Parker lever release. 5 Lbs. - 7-1/4 Oz.
