Early Parker DH 20ga - A very cool lightweight Parker with fishtail toplever
Description: Very unusual and rare early 20ga Parker Bros. DH Grade gun made on a "0" Frame with 26" original length Damascus barrels. The gun made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety. Splinter forend is checkered with engraved Deeley release. The case hardened action is engraved in fine early DH Grade pattern. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in D Grade pattern with engraved original skeleton buttplate. The most fascinating thing about this gun is that the barrels have been brass lined - I can't tell if it was done at the factory or outside of the factory but the quality of the work is top shelf. The liners do have choke and throw a hell of a pattern! Overall, the gun remains in outstanding professionally restored condition. The gun was restored years back by noted gunsmith Brad Bachelder. Barrels retain nearly all of his renewed bold original pattern. The action retains about 95% of his factory style original looking case colors. Stocks are excellent and retain most all of the professionally restored finish. There is evidence of an old repair at the wrist that is still visible in the photos- the repair is stable but visible at the trigger guard and you'll note that in the photos. The stocks are sound otherwise and excellent. Skeleton buttplate retains about all of its restored blue. Gun is nice and tight and bores are shiny as lined. This highly unusual small bore Parker is priced at $3995 plus shipping to your home as an antique.
