Parker VH 20 gauge Shotgun 1929 - Fantastic Original Condition with fitted Abercrombie & Fitch Travel Case

This classic Parker VH 20 gauge shotgun is in fantastic original condition and is accompanied with its fitted travel case by Abercombie & Fitch. These lower grade Parkers are hard to find in excellent, used condition. Light, sturdy and very well made, Parkers of this grade were used for normal field use by many fowl hunters, as well as clay shooters. As a result of that, they are tough to find not showing the visible signs of their years of reliable service.
Presented here is serial number 233246, circa 1929. It features 28" Vulcan 3lbs 2 oz barrels on an O size frame. Original metal finishes are in superb, lightly used condition. Barrels look great, with ome very light marks from careful use There is one small scratch at the rear side of the left barrel. The stock and forend show very light usage with excellent original finish. Original end cap and dogshead buttplate are in amazing original condition. You can just see a hint of surface finish loss on the topmost screw on the buttplate, as an indicator of this guns light use. The matching A&F case is fitted for the gun perfectly and is in great condtion as well. Not sure of the exact vintage of the case, but 1955 or older is assumed.
As the story was relayed to the current owner, this beauty was bought on a whim in 1955 at the A&F store in Manhattan by a previous owner. He apparently used it a while for shooting with his buddies, but after that phase passed, the gun remained in storage for the next 40+ years. It has been in the current owners collection for the last 20+ years.
*Please note there is some fine lint present on the barrels in some of the pictures, they are not defects. I have 20+ more photos available for interested parties to look over*
