Parker / Winchester Reproduction DHE Grade Shotgun. 28ga. 26" and 28" Barrels with broad, matted game ribs are marked with Parker Reproduction Winchester information, gauge, chamber, and address on sides of left barrels. Barrel flats are stamped with all correct markings. 26" barrels are stamped IC and mod, and 28" barrels, mod and full. Case hardened 00 frame with lightening cuts in water table, features automatic safety and double triggers. Action is engraved in DHE style with dogs on sides and "PARKER" on bottom. Trigger plate is engraved with pheasants. Serial number is on trigger guard tang. Nicely stump figured American walnut Parker/ Winchester capped buttstock measures 14 1/4" over solid red pad. Stock is classically styled with lozenge drop points, point pattern checkering, and silver oval. Matching splinter ejector forend services both barrel sets. Tan leather case with leather corners and leather trimmed outer cover is lined in green cloth. Parker Repro oval label is in lid. Case contains a pair of snap caps.
CONDITION: Very fine as partially refinished. Barrels retain nearly all of their original blue. Action retains 70% original metallic hued case hardening color, silvered on fences, and considerably on bottom, as it is not unusual these colors fade very easily. Stocks retain most of their original finish, butt with added oil with addition of pad. Bores are excellent. Mechanically very fine. Case is excellent inside and out.
