The First 12ga Parker Repro Steel Shot Special
Description: This is A Parker Reproduction DHE 12 gauge serial number 26.It was the first 12 gauge repro to come off of the production line and was the prototype for the steel shot special guns distributed by the Jaeger Division of Dunn's in the early 1980s.Included with the gun are letters from Jack Skeuse of Parker Reproductions certifying that this was the first 12 gauge built,a first issue Parker Repro catalog,and a letter giving the history of this gun written by me since I am the original owner.The gun has a stright grip stock,single trigger,ejectors,and a splinter forend.It retains 25% of the case colors and 95% of the barrel blue.The 28" barrels are choked improved cylinder (.008") and improved modified (.018") with 3" chambers and bore diameters of .740".The gun is mentioned on page 38 of "Best guns" by Michael Mcintosh.This gun is fully documented and is part of the Parker legacy.It also a great all purpose gun.I have broken clays with it and shot ducks,dove,quail,turkeys,and geese with it.
