BEAUTIFUL PARKER AAHE 12 GAUGE SxS SHOTGUN
Description: The Circassian straight grip stock is in excellent condition. Sharp checkering. Forearm is almost completely checkered. The forearm cap is highly engraved as well as the forearm release lever. The gun is engraved in the extra fine scroll Parker used on some of the AH grades. At the bottom of the frame on each side is marked "Parker". Gun has the 1-1/2 frame with 30 inch barrels that are choked Full and Modified. Barrels are marked Peerless Steel. Trigger guard is engraved much like the frame with delicate tight scrolls. The barrels show a weight of 4 pounds 2 ounces. This is truly a lovely gun complete with original hang tags from Abercrombie & Fitch. There is also a letter from Parker to the owner stating the barrels are made of Peerless Steel. Also is the identification of the original owner, M P Thatcher, 510 Park Avenue, New York City. This gun was ordered as a pair with identical features. Apparently they were shamefully split up some time ago. Gun is fitted in an Oak and Leather case with the owners initials in the lid. Gun is identified in the Parker Serialization book.
