Description:
Very nice 12ga fishtail top lever hammer gun in Grade 0 (V Grade) made with 30" twist steel barrels. Made with splinter forend, double triggers, extractors. Capped pistol grip buttstock with original Dogs Head buttplate. Nicely lightly engraved case colored receiver as seen in the photos. The gun is housed in a nice period wooden case with green felt interior with some accessories. The case, while not factory is certainly period and shows quality and pride of ownership - the entire outfit is well taken care of!
The gun remains in excellent original untouched condition. Barrels retain more than 95% of their original twist pattern. Action retains more than 1/2 of its original case color, toned on bottom but nice and vivid on locks, hammers and on top. Stocks are sound and excellent and retain most all of their original finish with only minor handling marks noted. Bores are bright and shiny and the gun is nice and tight with crisp mechanics. Case is excellent with some rub marks on the outside.
