Outstanding 1898 Parker DH 12ga.
Description: Parker Bros. DH grade 12 gauge built in 1898.This gun is in remarkable all original condition.It retains at least 50% of the original case colors,98% of the original damascus pattern,and 95% of the original wood finish.The barrels are 28" damascus steel with mint bores.The barrels are choked improved cylinder (.010") and modified (.025").The minimum wall thickness is .030" at the muzzle.I have shot several rounds of sporting with this gun using Federal trap loads.It is safe to shoot with reasonable loads.The gun is unusual in that it has modern stock dimensions of 14" LOP,15/8" at comb,and 2" at heel.The gun matches the factory letter perfectly.This is a remarkable gun for its age.The engraving is the fine game scene and scroll typically found on the earlier gun.It appears to have never had a screwdriver on it.All screws are perfect and timed.Built on a #2 frame,the gun weighs 7-2.A great gun for upland birds,clays,or for the collector.
