Parker Bros 20 Ga VH Side by Side w/single trigger
Description: This little Parker will make a great shooter for someone. Various small areas of heavy pitting in no way effect the usefulness and we have just had the barrels cerakoted and they look good - bores are a bit washed ahead of the forcing cones (would polish out easily) and the rest of the bores and chambers are excellent. Action is a nice patina with only a few areas of pitting. Wood is good and original and to include the original buttplate. Gun is equipped with a L Timney single trigger (the only one I've ever seen on a Parker) and it functions well. Barrels are 28 inches in length and choked Improved cylinder and improved modified. Length of pull is 13.75 inches and the gun weighs 6 lb 8.2 ounces and it is an O frame. Yes it's not mint, but it is a 20 Gauge and it points and shoots just as well as a mint one will - but without the expense, and it is a genuine Parker Brothers gun. Serial range 16529x. This gun is worth more in parts than we are asking for it. An ideal starter gun for a youngster, or a loaner gun for a gunless friend. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
