This gun is Beautiful in Hand and shows a nice Blush of Case Colors remaining around the Top Edge of the Frame and Under the Opening Lever ! The Receiver has mostly Patinaed to a soft Gray and the Blued Barrels have aged to a Pleasing Plum Color ! The gun is just as the Parker Seroialization book has it recorded ! The wood remains in Very Nice condition with Very Strong Checkering Including nicely Checkered Cheek Panels ! It does have a few bumps and bruises on the wood and a little wear on the original finishes as you would expect with any gun nearly One Hundred years Old ,this Parker shuts like a Bank Vault and is tight and on face when open and hung loose over your arm therer is just the slightest bit of movement at the hinge ,no rattles and you really havre to look for it but worth mentioning as I attempt to describe my sale items as clearly as possible ! The Dogs Head Butt Plate has a Small Chip on the plate itself at the bottom edge of the plate but no chipping on the wood !
