Parker CHE 12 ga. 30
Parker CHE 12 gauge SxS shotgun. Made in 1903, this CHE is exactly how it is listed in the Parker Records: 30” barrels, ejectors, capped pistol grip and Titanic Steel barrels and double triggers. The barrels are choked F/F (.035” & .035”). #2 frame. 2 ½” chambers.
All metal finishes are original with just traces of case colors remaining by the trigger, under the top lever and it “protected” areas like the water table and inside the forearm. The engraving is in a well-executed “C” grade game scene style. The stock escutcheon is smooth and appears to be that way from hones wear.
The wood has had finish added and quite noticeably you can see that the stock was cut with spacers and a pad added to a length of 14 ¾” LOP. From the front trigger to the end of the wood is 13”. So if your LOP is 14”-14 ¼” the spacers could be removed and a 1” – 1 ¼” leather covered pad installed! As it sits the DAC is 1 ½” and DAH is 2 7/8” with neutral cast.
Weight is 8 lbs. The gun is mechanically perfect; bores are perfect. This gun will make a great vintage sporting clays gun.
