Parker DH 12 Gauge Pigeon Gun with 32” Barrels – Handsomely Case Colored
Description: Beautifully restored 12 gauge Parker Pigeon gun with 32” barrels and recently professionally case colored. Parker number 139116 was made in 1906 and is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. Gun has “Titan Steel” barrels with the bluing and bores in good condition. Has double triggers, extractors, original skeleton buttplate with checkered butt, and no safety. No.2 frame size. Great handling and ready for the rings, clays, or game. Weighs 7lb 13oz. The 32” barrels are made of “Titan Steel” with their original chambering. The bores are shiny and bright and the bluing is in good condition. They are topped by a raised solid tapered crosshatched rib with a silver front bead. The rib is inscribed “Parker Bros. Makers. Meridien, Conn. Titan Steel”. The right barrel is bored 0.737 with a constriction of 0.030 for Improved Modified choke. The left barrel is bored 0.731 and has a constriction of 0.035 for Full choke. The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made of highly figured American black walnut. The checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 14” to its original skeleton buttplate and checkered butt by 1-1/4” by 1-1/4”. A parallel comb. Very slightly cast off for the righthanded shooter. A really nice and somewhat rare Parker Pigeon Gun,that outside of the recently recoloring and barrel bluing, is in the same configuration as when it left the factory in Meridien. Great handling gun you would be proud to uncase at the range or for a day afield. Parker Pigeon Guns are much sought after and do not become available very often. Better move on it.
