Parker DHE 12ga. built in 1906.It has 30" Titanic steel barrels choked full (.040") and full (.040").The bores are bright and free of rust or dents.The bore diameters are .732" each.The barrels are tight and on face.The receiver retains around 20% of the original case colors and 90% of the original barrel blue.The stock is highly figured and has been expertly repaired at some time.The gun was ordered with a gold grip cap which is engraved "Wm.J Snyder From Dad Winfield Pa".According to the PGCA letter,the gun was shipped to Northumbria,Pa. which is just across the Susquehana river from Winfield.The gun was built on a #2 frame and weighs 7-12.The LOP is 143/8" over a Noshoc pad. The letter specifies a Silvers pad,so I assume the Noshoc was added at a later date.Other features are double triggers,ejectors,splinter forend.This is a great all around DHE with a lot of shooting left to do.It would make a great duck, pheasant,or turkey gun for those who enjoy hunting with the classics.It is also a great live pigeon gun.OPen the chokes a bit and it is a fine clays gun.C&R eligible.
