Parker G 2 16 gauge Damascus

Description:
Parker Brothers 16 gauge GH 2 on #1 frame 30 Inch Barrels Choked Full and Full.  2 1/2 inch chambers  LOP is 14/1/4 with original Parker hard rubber butt plate, DAC is 1 5/8 and DAH is 2 1/2,  Double triggers Extractors.  Engraved with Geese on the left side under Parker Bros, Pheasants on the right under Parker Bros, Pheasants on the bottom of the receiver.  Splinter for end. This gun was manufactured in 1901 and has some minor impressions and scratches on the wood.   There is case coloring visible on most of the receiver but somewhat faded. The damascus pattern is very nice and hardly worn or faded, there are a few ding marks on the barrels but minimal for a 124 year old shotgun. The Bores are Bright and shiny. The forty first edition of the Blue Book of gun values has the value of this gun at 70% condition at $6000. Consensus has the metal at 80% and the wood at 65% I have a copy of the reaearch letter obtained by the Parker Gun Collectors association.
