* Interestingly, the Parker letter tells us that the gun was returned by Mr. Metcaff in July of 1908 to have second set of barrels with forend to be fitted and also the original barrels to be cut and regulated.
The new barrels and the cutting of the original barrels came to a cost of $41.50.
The Parker records indicate also that the gun was returned to them in January 1914 by a George Marshall of Spokane Wa. to be restocked to 1 5/8" at the comb, 2 1/2" at the heel, and a length of pull of 14 1/2."

Description: Boxlocks - Parker Club letter tells us this super example of a Parker G grade was ordered T.A. Metcaff of Chamberlain SD on February 1, 1908 and shipped on February 28 1908. The letter also tells us it was ordered with full choked 30" Damascus barrels.
