PARKER GH - 12 GAUGE WITH HEAVY #2 FRAME 32" BARRELS
Description: Parker GH 12 gauge with heavy #2 frame / 32" barrels. Barrels still have some nice damascus pattern. Bores are exceptional for a gun that age (1899), some light crazing but mostly mirror like interiors. I would rate them 8 on a 10 scale. One small dent on left barrel (coulld not get it to show up in a photo). Barrels alone weight 4 LBS 10 3/8 OZ! Chambers measure 2 7/8". Right barrel measures .755 with 25/1000 (Imp Mod) choke while left is also .755 with 30/1000 (Full) choke. Early Parker Shotguns tend to be overbored. No loose ribs / tight on face / no cracks to wood. All matching serial numbers. Original Parker Dogs Head Buttplate. Auto safety is functional but stiff. Wood has been nicely refinished showing nice figure but not recheckered. A good recheckering job would do a lot to improve this gun. Weight of the gun is a stout 8 LBS 14 3/4 OZ. Mostly likely a waterfowl gun, it could live on as a great sporting clay gun. LOP is 14". Drop at comb is 1 11/16". Drop at heel is 3". Shipping is $50 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Shotgun Gauge: 12 Gauge |
