Offered here is a beautiful Parker Brothers GH Grade 16-gauge side-by-side shotgun, serial number 219437, manufactured in March 1926. This classic American double is built on a #1 frame and comes with provenance from the Parker Gun Collectors Association (PGCA), including original research letters.

Offered here is a beautiful Parker Brothers GH Grade 16-gauge side-by-side shotgun, serial number 219437, manufactured in March 1926. This classic American double is built on a #1 frame and comes with provenance from the Parker Gun Collectors Association (PGCA), including original research letters.
Specifications (per PGCA letter):
- Grade: GH (hammerless)
- Gauge: 16-gauge
- Frame Size: #1
- Barrels: 28" Parker Special Steel, choked Skeet, Skeet
- Stock: from the factory it was Capped pistol grip with checkering, It is now a stright grip with the extended tang.
- Weight: 6 lbs. 10 oz. (per ledger)
- LOP: 14 ½" | Drop at Heel: 2 ½"
- Engraved receiver with original Parker scrollwork, showing nice patina and traces of case coloring
- Beautifully figured walnut stock and forend with sharp checkering; normal handling marks present consistent with age
- Barrels retain strong bluing, bores are bright
- Mechanics are crisp and function properly
- Comes in a fitted leather presentation case with accessories
- Parker Gun Collectors Association Research Letter (2003) confirming factory build details
- Additional correspondence from Larry Del Grego & Son, Parker specialists, regarding finish and originality
