Parker GHE 28ga, 28in
++ANOTHER SOLD GUN TO NEW HOME++
A desirable Parker Brothers GHE 28ga with 28in barrels, Double Triggers, Auto- Ejectors. SN 178,279, year 1917, shipped to Albany, GA and found still in GA. Parker Letter lists this gun as VHE. Now as a GHE engraved beautiful example appears to be completed by Robert P. Runge. The gun was restored at Larry DelGrego, Sr. Shop, as recently confirmed by the DelGrego Family many years ago when Bob Runge was working with the Shop. Fast forward 104 years, this beautiful example has since been stored away by a Georgia Family until recently found in a private family collection. This Parker shows very light use since restored to its high standard by Larry Sr. The bores are mirror. The wood is "Factory Original" in excellent condition, NO Restocked wood here on this Parker. The case colors are very brilliant and shows near 99%. Overall condition of engraving is VERY Sharp. Very faint engraved initials "RPR" appear to be that of Robert Phoenix Runge with very faint engraved initials on left side of boxlock receiver. The thumb latch is well right of center as shown in photos. Please note the fine details that bring this little guns to a near new and original condition. Not only the case colors, but the checkering and overall wood show a masterful job was done to bring the gun to near new. All screws are timed with opening and closing this gun is quite tight. Just an amazing piece art that gives this Parker a rarity, as we have factory research letter received from PGCA confirms above with provenance.
