Parker "V" grade 12 gauge, Miller Single Trigger, Auto Ejectors
Description: Parker "V" grade, 12 gauge with 2 3/4's inch chambers, Miller single selective trigger, automatic ejectors. barrels cut to 26 inches with cylinder bores. The serial number is 22830x, made in early 1928 and its in very good condition, frame size is 1 1/2. This Parker retains 30% or more of it's original case colors and 85% or more of it's original blued finish on the barrels. The wood has probably been refinished and looks good, not undersanded, it has a very old looking red recoil pad marked Red Head Chicago, easily could be from the same era as the gun. The LOP is 14 1/4 inches, the pad is old but still soft and it was put on properly, it has the correct Parker pistol grip cap. The checkering on the stock and forend is still very good. A previous owner has put a dowel thru the grip, for reinforcement I suppose, and they have checkered a panel on each side like Parker did on there higher grade guns, whoever did this didn't do a very good jod on that checkering but it looks ok. The wood is very soild with no chips or cracks. The bores are mirror brite with no dents or pitting. There is no pitting anywhere on the gun. The single selective trigger seems to work perfect, the selector is on the safety. If the barrels hadn't been cut it would be a fairly pricy gun what with that I think it's very reasonable.
