Parker Trojan 16 Gauge - SUPER NICE UNMOLESTED GUN
Description: Parker Trojan 16 Gauge Side-by-Side SUPER NICE UNMOLESTED GUN! General Specs: Parker, Year 1930, 16 Gauge, 6lbs 8oz, SxS Serial Number: 231152 Lets face it, Parker doubles are, feature for feature, grade for grade, the most costly vintage American double on the market. Just like in 1912 when the Parker Trojan model was first introduced, some of us cannot afford a graded Parker 16ga. in today’s market at $5000 or more. Hence we have this fine little Trojan that makes it way easier to walk the fields and clays course with the gun you have always wanted; a Parker just like your dad’s or granddad’s. The Trojan is the exact same mechanism as any other Parker with a few less options you simply don’t need to go shoot up your favorite birds or clays. This Trojan, sn 231152 built in 1930, is in AMAZING FACTORY ORIGINAL CONDITION. The Parker Trojan was a workhorse of a gun for most families and nearly every one you see has been used hard with little finish remaining. To find one with 90% vivid case color, 99% deep Parker blue, and 99% original wood finish is a rare occurrence. Look closely at the photos and you will see perfect wood to metal fit, perfect screws, lettering and matting on the rib, perfect flat top factory checkering...a very pleasing gun to look at and own. This is certainly one of the nicest original Trojans I have ever seen, and we all know that condition is the key factor in value. They only made about 6500 Trojan 16ga guns, so they are not that common when you consider they made 14,000 VH Grade 16 gauge guns. This gun will be a good investment for you as it will be worth more next year than it is this year as nice, high condition, factory original Parker 16ga. guns are becoming scarce. Don't let this one get away, and thanks for looking! Barrels Barrel Length: 28" Chokes: .023/.028 M/F Bores: perfect mirror Bore Diameter: .668/.665 Wall Thickness: .019/.025 % Blue: 99% factory Chambers: 2 1/2" Ribs: tight Sights: single Action Action: tight, way right of center Ejectors or Extractors: extractors Case Color: 90% vivid factory Screws: perfect Trigger Type: double, crisp Trigger Guard Color: 40% going to patina Stock Type: pistol grip/splinter forend LOP: 14" LOP To End Of Wood: 13 3/4" DAH: 2 7/8" DAC: 1 5/8" Cast: 1/8" off Checkering Condition: excellent factory Butt Treatment: factory plate There are more photos upon request.
