Only a month or so and it will be time for chasing your favorite game bird with your newly acquired Parker 20ga.. The Parker is the most noted vintage American double shotgun in the world. They are wonderful guns with classic looks. When looking for a lightweight Parker for upland birds or a casual day on the sporting clays course you will see many Parker VH 20ga. guns offered for sale. So, how do you know which one to buy? Some of the Parker guns you see are in quite high condition with special features and price tags to go with them. But what if you are looking for a great gun to take to the woods, a gun you don’t have to worry about? You still want to find a reliable gun that hasn’t been abused; a gun with good screws, great barrels that are tight on the breech face with excellent bores, good shootable stock dimensions, and mechanics that are safe and proper. This Parker, sn208983 made in 1924, is one that is ready for decades of service for its next owner, retaining all its FACTORY ORIGINAL PARTS. Fully restored to new condition, and with great grouse/woodcock/quail chokes and good shooting dimensions, there is a lot to like with this fine shotgun.
