If you are a Parker lover or a gunner looking for a classic American side x side for the upcoming bird season, we offer here a very special Parker VHE 12 gauge that is a rare opportunity.  LOOK LONG AND HARD AND YOU WILL NOT FIND A PARKER LIKE THIS, WITH 28” BARRELS WEIGHING 6LBS. 12OZ. IN ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION, WITH 14 5/16” LOP TO THE FACTORY BUTT PLATE…A TRUE ULTRALIGHT PARKER UPLAND FIELD GUN.  Search the internet and you will find many Parker VH grade 12ga. guns for sale.  Most have been altered a lot since leaving the factory, including cut barrels and stocks, added pads, poorly done restorations, and even top-quality restorations.  Chokes get changed, many are restocked and no longer look like Parkers, and few have been cared for in a manner that preserves their metal and wood for a century.  So, when we find a Parker like this one, sn231262 built in 1929, that retains much of its original factory finishes, we have a VERY NICE PARKER FOR COLLECTORS AND SHOOTERS ALIKE.  This Parker shipped on a 1 ½ frame with 28” Vulcan Steel barrels that still have mirror clean bores choked IM/F, with strong well-timed ejectors, excellent screws and mechanics, and has the original wood with great modern dimensions (see tables below).  Just look at the checkering and the wood-to-metal fit on this gun.  You don’t see them like this often!  All metal and wood finishes are factory original, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TRIGGER GUARD THAT HAS BEEN REBLUED (most all Parker trigger guards flake blue prematurely), with the barrels retaining 99% factory blue, action showing 95% factory case color (fading but there), and the wood retaining most of its original factory finish.  Weighing in at 6lbs. 12oz. and balanced on the hinge pin, this is the gun you want to carry all day over hill and dale and still be lightning fast to the shoulder when that rooster gets up!  With the IM/F chokes you can take pheasants at 50 yard in any direction.  Feed the gun RST Spreader loads and she will pattern like an IC/M gun for closer work.  If your passion is upland game, especially on the western prairies, you know that an UTRALIGHT PARKER is a highly sought after treasure and not many have survived intact or were so well taken care of as this one.  Most all Parkers in 12ga. weigh well over 7lbs., most over 7 1/2lbs.  This Parker is a VFI CERTIFIED GUN WITH A 90 DAY MECHANICAL WARRANTY, having been stripped to the smallest part, Ultrasonic cleaned, each part inspected for integrity and function, lubricated properly and reassembled.  This is a versatile, investment quality gun that will only go up in value as you enjoy its use.  With the rapidly approaching hunting season this one will not last long, so don’t hesitate to make the move.  ULTRALIGHT PARKERS SELL FAST!  Thanks for looking.
