Truly superb Parker A-1 Special 410ga Del Grego / Runge Upgrade- Bob Timberlake’s Gun!
Description: Fantastic A-1 Special Upgrade by Larry Del Grego and Robert Runge 410ga with 26" barrels. Gun with beautifully fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with fully engraved release and iron. 000 frame is beautifully scroll and floral engraved as seen in the photos. "PARKER BROS" in gold on bottom of frame. Gold plated checkered trigger. Fabulously flame figured American walnut buttstock is carved and checkered in fleur-de-lis pattern and terminates with a fully engraved skeleton buttplate. Gun with polished barrel flats that have artisans name on it as well as being signed by the engraver in tiny font on top of trigger plate. Gun belonged to famed N.C Artist, Bob Timberlake and was part of his collection for many years. Gun remains in near mint condition with virtually all custom finishes throughout. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect. Case is excellent. This dynamite 410 is the single nicest A1 upgrade I've had a chance to offer for sale! The provenance is great, too!
