Turnbull restored Parker DHE 16ga with case
Description: Made on a #1 Frame in the 184k SN Range. Engraved in typical DHE grade pattern, and made with double triggers, ejectors, and auto-safety. Capped PG buttstock with skeleton buttplate and splinter forend are original to the gun. Barrels originally started life as 30" and were at some point reduced to 28" though they still have some choke. Gun has been fully restored by Turnbull. Case colors, blue, and wood finish is quite beautiful and lives right up to the Turnbull name! There are some subsequent minor handling marks as seen in the photos but the gun retains about 98% of its restored finishes throughout. Though the previous owner has fired this gun many times, I am selling it with the caveat that it should NOT be fired without competent review by a qualified gunsmith. The wall thickness readings (listed below) were double checked. These readings are out before the chokes start. The gun is a great candidate for Briley inserts, or perhaps you have a set of #1 frame barrels that could be fitted to the gun to make it safe and serviceable for another several generations! This gun is bargain priced at $2795 shipped to your FFL. The price is WAY below the cost of the restoration work that went in to the gun. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions or reasonable offers on this gun.
