For your consideration , This is an extremely rare Parker Brothers Shotgun ,it is not your ordinary 12 Gauge Trojan Grade Parker ,this is one of 25 Trojan Grade guns ordered specifically with Twist Steel Barrels , they are stamped as X Grade Trojans and are classified in the Factory letter as " Special " ,no one is quite sure why they are stamped X , Experimental Possibly ? They are quite special indeed as they are a group of twenty five ,12 Gauge Trojans with Twist Steel Barrels and are built on the #1 Frame , the first 10 Guns were built with 28" Barrels and the remainder with 30 " Barrels ! All other 12 gauge Trojans are built with Trojan Steel Barrels on the #2 Frame ! This Particular gun is the first " #1 of the 25 Special Ordered gun and its serial # is 173901 , at the time of the printing of the Parker Story it is noted that only two were known to exist ,this particular gun is one of the two listed in the Parker Story ,since then ,I know of around four of them ! This gun has a few bumps and bruises and has a Gold Shield in the grip cap that I am assuming someone added but it is not a bad touch and the Barrels are in super good condition and still show nice pattern and she locks up tight and is on face ! When I bought the gun the screws were really buggered up so I had all new screws Made and Timed and the internals cleaned so she is ready for anothe life time of use !
